1. Create an account at orat.io/register
The first step is fairly simple: Enter your name, email and password to proceed to the next step, where you can connect your messenger accounts.
2. Connect and create your messenger accounts
Now you are ready to connect and create your messenger accounts which will be your new channels for customer service.
Connecting a Facebook account
Your Facebook account is included in the basic plan and you can connect it right away.
In order to connect a Facebook account, you need to be creator or admin of a Facebook Page. By clicking on Add Pages, a new window opens which prompts you to login to your Facebook account.
Once you logged in, all available Facebook Pages associated with your account will be listed. Click on Activate to chose the Page you want to connect orat.io with.
Connecting a Telegram account
Use of your Telegram account is also included in the basic plan: see the next step on how to use our marketplace to upgrade to a WhatsApp plan!
oratio uses Telegram's bot platform to create a company account that handles all customer communication for your business. Therefore you need to create a bot beforehand with the official Telegram botmaker named @Botfather (click on the link and Telegram will open instantly).
After creating your Telegram bot, Botfather gives you an
HTTP Token. Copy and paste this token to you orat.io account and you are ready to go!
Connecting a WhatsApp account using the Marketplace
Our marketplace allows you to add features to your plan so that your use of oratio is tailored to you and your businesses needs.
WhatsApp is part of this marketplace and will cost an extra $14 per agent per month with your basic plan. You can connect a WhatsApp account to oratio by clicking the button below the other messengers.
The only thing you need to do when creating a WhatsApp account is to choose a name for it. Everything else is handled by oratio. The telephone number will be assigned automatically to your account and starts with
3. Add your team members
Enter your team members email to send them an invitation to join oratio. You can skip this step and come back to it later but we recommend giving your team members immediate access to the product.
4. Promote your new customer service channels using widgets or the links provided
The last step is optional, but very important for the promotion of your new channels.
You can copy the html code for your widgets onto your site. You can customise the text and button of your widget and preview it by clicking the preview button.
We also provide custom links which can be found on the links tab to the right side of the widget infor. These links create an individual "door page" that gives your customers easy instructions on how to contact you via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Telegram Messenger.

5. Adding other features from the marketplace
Along with WhatsApp you will also find other features available to you via the marketplace. The marketplace is located at the top of your oratio dashboard. These features are included in your 14 day trial. After this period you will need to upgrade them to your plan. All pricing is quoted per agent/ per month.
