Some users at AndroidAuthority1 noticed earlier today that Facebook Messenger has a hidden feature embedded in its source code: A fully functional chess game!

Start a new game with any friend on Facebook by typing @fbchess play and control the pieces by using simple commands such as @fbchess Pe4 to send a pawn to field e4.

The user experience could definitely be improved by touching and moving the pieces instead of using commands, but playing chess within Facebook Messenger is definitely a nice way of getting in touch with old friends again, right?
